The Institute for Studying Youth Problems and Training Prospective Personnel under the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan operates in accordance with Resolution No. PP-4768 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2020, “On the Organization of the Activities of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
The Institute functions as a state institution whose mandate encompasses investigating youth-related issues, conducting scientific research and analytical inquiry in this domain, and providing retraining and professional development for promising young professionals.
The Institute offers retraining and professional development courses for executive personnel from public administration and economic management bodies, local executive authorities, self-governing bodies of citizens, and civil society organizations.
Instruction in retraining programs is conducted on a full-time (job-released) basis, whereas professional development courses may be delivered on either a full-time or part-time basis, as well as through distance learning technologies.
Candidate selection for the training programs is carried out by the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan from among nominees put forward by state authority bodies, public administration and economic management entities, and national civil society organizations. Applicants must be under 30 years of age, hold a higher education degree, and possess a minimum of two years of professional work experience.
Trainees enrolled in full-time programs retain their official positions and average salary at their primary place of employment for the duration of their studies.
