On October 23, an open dialogue titled “We Hear the Youth” was held in Tashkent with the participation of ministry representatives, public organizations, and volunteers. The YOMI.uz Institute facilitated direct communication between young people and government bodies, helping convey their initiatives and proposals.
Open Dialogue “We Hear the Youth” Held in Tashkent with the Participation of Civil Society Institutions and Volunteers
To support youth initiatives, listen to their opinions, and find solutions to pressing issues, an open dialogue under the slogan “We Hear the Youth” took place at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Tashkent.
The event was attended by representatives of civil society institutions and volunteer organizations.
The Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and Training of Promising Personnel (YOMI.uz) acted as a partner in organizing the dialogue, facilitating interaction between young people and representatives of ministries and agencies, as well as helping to deliver youth ideas and proposals directly to state institutions.

Representatives of the following ministries, departments, and organizations took part in the dialogue:
The Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Sports, the Mahalla Association of Uzbekistan, the Youth Affairs Agency, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the National Bank of Uzbekistan JSC, Aloqabank JSC, the National Association of Non-Governmental Nonprofit Organizations of Uzbekistan, and the Association of Volunteers of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, participants discussed youth proposals and initiatives aimed at addressing social and public issues, and exchanged views on the development of volunteerism in the country.
The main focus was on supporting volunteer activities, expanding opportunities for youth participation in socially significant projects, and creating effective mechanisms for cooperation between government institutions and volunteer organizations.
Representatives of YOMI.uz conveyed initiatives and proposals gathered from active young people directly to government institutions, acting as a bridge between generations.

Additionally, representatives of youth from all regions of the country joined the event online via the Zoom platform.

Open dialogues held under the slogan “We Hear the Youth” are becoming a good tradition and serve as an effective platform for open discussion, the development of youth initiatives, and the strengthening of partnerships between young people and government institutions.
