September 14 this year In the city of Urgench, Khorezm region, within the framework of the “Young Voter – 2021” project, an event was held in which employees of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists of the Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and Training of Perspective Personnel, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, representatives of a number of other state and non-state organizations, youth and mass media (total – 1 300 people).

Within the framework of the event, discussion platforms, legal and television quizzes, training seminars, review competitions under the motto “The youth of the new Uzbekistan-drivers of the future” were organized in the areas of “The best essay” and” The best popular science and analytical article”, active participants and the winners of which were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.
During the event, the specialists of the Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and Training of Prospective Personnel informed the young participants about the gradual introduction of democratic principles and the requirements of international standards into the electoral system, the consistent improvement of electoral legislation, as well as the conditions created for the exercise of the right to vote in the country.
