September 15-16 this year in Bukhara, Bukhara region and Navoi, Navoi region, within the framework of the “Young Voter – 2021” project, events were held in which employees of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialists of the Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and Training of Perspective Personnel, the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, representatives of a number of other state and non-state organizations, youth and the media (total – 2 500 people).

Within the framework of the events, discussion platforms, legal and television quizzes, training seminars, and contests were organized under the slogan “Youth of New Uzbekistan – Drivers of the Future” in the directions “Best Essay” and “Best Popular Science and analytical article”, active participants and winners of which were awarded certificates and gifts.
During the events, specialists from the Institute for the Study of Youth Problems and the Training of Perspective Cadres informed young participants about the phased introduction of democratic principles and requirements of international standards into the electoral system, the consistent improvement of electoral legislation, as well as the conditions created for the exercise of electoral rights in the country.
