On December 20, 2021, The Institute for research of the Youth problems and Training of Prospective Personnel under the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the University of Nagoya in Japan held an international scientific-practical conference on “Issues of preparing young people for family life.”
The conference was attended by representatives of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, experts and young researchers working in the field of youth in Uzbekistan and Japan (a total of 90 people).
The event was opened by the Director of the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan A.Sadullayev, Dean of the Graduate School of Education and Human Resource of Nagoya University Haruhiko Matsushita, Director of the Institute for research of the Youth problems and Training of Prospective Personnel A.Jalilov commented on the importance, goals and objectives of the conference.
During the event, experts and participants discussed in detail the mechanisms of preparing young people for family life, as well as gender issues and domestic violence among young people, the possibility of introducing new approaches to working with young people in educational institutions and developed a number of practical proposals.
At the end of the conference, the participants noted the relevance of the topic and agreed to organize similar events in the future.
