Research by the Institute for the Institute for Research of the Youth Problems and Training Prospective Personnel shows that today various Indexes of an international and national character have been formed in the world, assessing the level of the state and development of youth:
The Commonwealth Youth Development Index is measured by five indicators: levels of education, health and well-being, employment and opportunity, civic participation and political participation. To date, two waves of monitoring of the development of youth in the world by the Commonwealth have been implemented, in particular, in 2013 (170 states) (Youth Development Index Results Report September, 2013), in 2016 (183 states) (Global Youth Development Index and Report 2016).

Global Youth Wellbeing Index – includes 7 indicators, «gender equality», «economic opportunity», «education», «health», «safety and security», «citizen participation» and «information and communication technologies». The project was implemented twice, in 2014 and 2017, covering 30 countries in each survey wave, which were selected based on economic development and transparency of statistical data.
Youth progress Index – the index is built on the basis of 3 dimensions: «basic human needs», «foundations of wellbeing» and «opportunity», consisting of 12 components and 60 different indicators. The index measures the quality of life of young people around the world and covers 150 countries (2020). The Youth Progress Index is one of the first instruments developed to give the full story of what life is like for a young person today, independent of economic indicators.
