On February 19th of this year, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Institute for the Study of Youth Issues and,  the Prospective Personnel Training, the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Academy of Sciences.

The main purpose of this memorandum is to improve legislation in these areas, increase public involvement in the legislative process, raise legal awareness, support strategies for the country’s development, and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with active participation from research organizations in the committee’s work.

The importance of organizing conferences, seminars, training sessions, roundtables, and other activities related to this cooperation on relevant and mutually beneficial topics was also highlighted.
