As part of the traditional “Youth Month”, held annually, on June 27-28 of this year, a meeting of experts on the creation of the Youth Council of the countries of Central and South Asia was held in Bukhara, in particular, a discussion of the draft charter of the Council was held.

This international event was attended by Director of the Institute for the Research of Youth Problems and Training Prospective Personnel under Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aktam Zhalilov and more than sixty participants, including representatives of fifteen foreign countries.

The report put forward the initiative to create a permanent Youth Council of the countries of Central and South Asia in order to establish effective cooperation in youth issues, and also noted that the holding of the first expert meeting on the creation of the Youth Council of the two regions is of particular importance.

 

The adoption of its charter will serve the implementation of joint programs in the fields of education and science, culture and sports with the involvement of our youth.

At the next stage, it was stated that the entry into force of this provision, signed by the heads of youth agencies of our countries, will serve the implementation of joint programs in the fields of education and science, culture and sport with the involvement of youth.
